Experienced team of technology investors, startup operators, and real estate professionals
Conan Lauterpacht is the founding partner at Sustainable Future Ventures. Prior to his role at SFV he was the managing partner at PropTech venture capital firm M7 Structura.
Conan entered the PropTech ecosystem in 2013 as the COO of Voyanta, a real estate data management business. As COO he spent several years fundraising, growing the business, and managing the acquisition and integration of the company by Altus Group. After helping launch Altus Group’s technology business unit, Altus Analytics, Conan led Altus Group’s corporate venture capital activity, where he made direct investments in a number of PropTech companies and venture capital firms.
Conan has also been an active angel investor and started his career in M&A as a corporate solicitor at Allen & Overy.
His years as a start-up operator have given Conan a deep appreciation of the challenges that founders face – he experienced the lows of not paying himself a salary when a funding round was delayed, and the highs of closing software deals with some of the largest global financial institutions. He looks forward to helping the next wave of entrepreneurs transform the built environment.
Conan is an avid skier, a father of three, and the reigning SFV mini-golf champion.
Conan holds an MBA from INSEAD, an LLM from the LSE, and a BA in PPE from Jesus College, Oxford.
